Porsche Cayenne
Porsche’s Cayenne, available in
Cayenne, Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo models, puts the
‘sport’ in sport utility vehicle. Designed to handle like
a sports car with room for five passengers, Cayenne’s
engine choices include a 3.2-liter, 250 horsepower V-6,
4.5-liter, 340 horsepower V-8 and twin-turbocharged, 450
horsepower V-8 with a top speed of 165 mph. Amenities
include an electronic ‘logbook,’ MP3-enabled audio system,
navigation system and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Porsche Cayman S
Porsche’s Cayman S is a Boxster-based,
2-seat coupe powered by a 3.4-liter, 295 horsepower flat-6
engine that produces 0 to 60 mph acceleration in 5.1 seconds
and a top speed of 171 mph. In testing around Germany’s
famed Nürburgring racing circuit, the Cayman S turned
laps that rivaled the Carrera. Even so, the Cayman is
rated as a low-emissions vehicle and produces EPA fuel
economy of 19/27 mpg city/highway.
Saab 9-3
For 2007, Saab refines the popular
9-3 range – including Sedan, Convertible and SportCombi
wagon – with a redesigned interior and new optional features
such as automatic climate control, OnStar and XM Satellite
Radio. Engine choices include a turbocharged, 210 horsepower
4-cylinder and a high-performance turbocharged 2.8-liter
V-6 that makes 250 horsepower and is mated to a choice
of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission with
steering-wheel shift buttons.
