Buick Rendezvous
Rendezvous is Buick’s premium CUV
(crossover utility vehicle), with changes for 2007 that
include OnStar’s Directions & Connections Plan with
Turn-by-Turn Navigation and 4-wheel antilock disc brakes
as standard equipment on all models. The product line
has been simplified, resulting in more options for the
base CX version, including 2nd-row removable captain’s
chairs, rear audio system controls, XM Satellite Radio
and a trailer hitch with 3,500-lb. towing capacity.
Buick Rainier
Buick makes getting there convenient
and elegant with the mid-sized, premium Rainier SUV. New
and standard for 2007 is the OnStar Directions & Connections
package with Turn-by-Turn Navigation, and a tire pressure
monitoring system joins GM‘s innovative StabiliTrak electronic
stability control system on the list of Rainier’s safety
systems. Both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive models are
available, as well as an optional 5.3-liter, 300 horsepower
V-8 engine.
Buick Terraza
Terraza is Buick’s premium crossover
sport van and now features GM’s 3.9-liter, 240 horsepower
V-6 engine mated to a computer-controlled 5-speed transaxle
driving the front wheels. A FlexFuel version of the engine,
designed to run on gasoline, E85 ethanol or a combination
of the two, will be available later in the year. Additional
changes for 2007 include redesigned 17-inch 8-spoke aluminum
wheels and three new exterior colors.
