Ingredients
1 lb. lamb cut into small pieces
1 cup rice
2 tomatoes

Cook the meat in 2 cups of salted water until tender. Drain the water and measure. Add more water to make it 1 1/2 cups. Wash and drain the rice and add it to the meat. Skin the tomatoes, remove the seed, cut into small pieces and add to the meat. Salt to taste. Heat the water and pour over the meat and rice. Cover and cook until rice is tender. Remove from fire, put dabs of butter on top, cover and let it stand a few minutes before serving.
