Ingredients
1 lb. lamb or beef, or both mixed, ground
1/4 lb. rice, washed
2 medium onions, chopped fine
A few sprigs of parsley, chopped
1/4 cup of tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

The basic dolma stuffing to serve a
family of 4 to 6, consists of the ingredients shown on the
left.
Mix all these ingredients well by hand in a bowl. If there
is more stuffing than needed, shape into walnut size balls
and cook with dolma. Whatever vegetable is used add some water
or tomato sauce over dolma to cook. Add more later if necessary.
Vegetables commonly used for dolmas are as follows: Tomatoes,
Green Peppers, Zucchini squash, Cabbage, Grape Leaves.
