The TL mid-sized sedan is Acura’s best selling model. For 2008, the TL carries forward a series of upgrades adopted for the 2007 model year, including sharpened exterior and interior styling, an improved navigation system, a newly redesigned 5-speed automatic transmission, revised suspension tuning, and the inclusion of the TL Type-S high-performance variant. The TL is powered by a 3.2-liter, 258 horsepower V-6 mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission, while the Type-S has a 3.5-liter, 286 horsepower V-6 under the hood.
