As of April 2004, the highest paid TV actresses per episode were Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox Arquette (all from USA), who played the female leads in Friends (NBC, USA) since 1994 and earned approximately $1 million each per episode in the show’s final series. Helen Hunt (USA) also reportedly earned $1 million per episode of Mad About You (NBC, USA) in the 1990’s.
